Before making a reservation at Italian Holiday Experience we encourage you to read these Terms and Conditions carefully, as they constitute a contract agreement between Italian Holiday Experience and you from the time the booking is made. The person who makes the booking accepts these conditions on behalf of all the people in the group and is responsible for all payments due.

By submitting a booking through website or email, you confirm to us that you comply with these arrangements.

Once you have submitted your booking and personal details through Italian Holiday Experience, you will receive a confirmation and via e-mail. Please note that all bookings require payment of 30% of the total package price at the time of the booking. If the total price is less than 800 EUR or booking occurs less than 30 days before your arrival date full payment is required.

If you prefer to pay for your booking with a bank transfer, please contact Italian Holiday Experience here and send us all the information regarding the booking, name of the tour, type of car, accommodation and arrival date.

Most of the bookings are confirmed on the same day; however, packages that include overnight accommodation and car rental may take a bit longer. One of our sales representatives will contact you within two business days (48 hours) to confirm the booking.

The travel documents will be delivered to you once the full payment has been received. You will receive your travel documents: e-tickets, vouchers and itinerary via email.

Travel documents will be available for download and printing within 2 weeks of receipt of your final payment. With regards to some air, train and ferry tickets, you will either receive these in the mail or you will receive a voucher to download and present to the local services supplier upon your arrival in the relevant country. It is the sole responsibility of the client to have all necessary paperwork (passports, visas, etc) required to enter the destination country. Italian Holiday Experience accepts no responsibility in any changes or cancelations that result in the client’s failure to produce the necessary documentation for travel.

Please print out these documents, as you will need to show them for all services during your visit to Italy.

If by any chance our travel consultant is unable to obtain confirmation (if car rental/ or accommodation is not available) an alternative will be offered. If you do not accept the alternative or Italian Holiday Experience is not able to offer you an alternative, you are entitled to cancel with a full refund of the deposit.

Booking services with Italian Holiday Experience are available only to persons aged 18 years and older. By submitting a booking, you warrant and confirm to us that you comply with these arrangements.

For all Italian Holiday Experience packages please notice that Compensation will not be payable to passengers if flights are forced to be cancelled or in any way change passengers booking schedule due to force major which in this context is defined as government action or restraint, threat of war, riot, civil strike, industrial dispute, terrorist activity, natural or nuclear disaster, fire, adverse weather conditions or any other event beyond Air Iceland's control.

 

TERMS OF PAYMENT
Please note that all bookings require payment of 30% of the total package price at the time of the booking. If the total price is less than 800 EUR or booking occurs less than 30 days before your arrival date full payment is required.

You will be informed by e-mail when you need to pay the balance of your booking which is 30 days before your departure date.

We accept all major credit cards: Visa, MasterCard. We do not accept American Express.
There is no service fee for processing Visa or MasterCard payments.

Italian Holiday Experience reserves the right to apply a credit card fee, depending on the type of the booking, however you will be informed about this in advance and have what that fee is made clear.

Some credit card companies add an international processing fee to the monies that are charged and this has to do with that respective credit card company, not with Italian Holiday Experience.

If you prefer to pay for your booking with a bank transfer, please contact us here and send us all the information regarding the booking, name of the tour, type of car, accommodation and arrival date.

All Prices quoted on Italian Holiday Experience are in Euros (€) and per person, unless otherwise specified. All payments and refunds are due in Euros. Italian Holiday Experience is not responsible for any changes in currency exchange rates that might occur from the time of booking until a refund is made.

 

VALIDITY OF PRICES
All rates quoted or shown in our website are based on current prices. All prices mentioned on this site include value-added tax. Italian Holiday Experience reserves the right to alter or change already published prices on the website without notice in the event of currency fluctuation, government taxes, or any such costs increases that is outside Italian Holiday Experience' control.

Italian Holiday Experience reserves the right to alter routes, itineraries or departure times without prior notice should this be necessary due to weather or other reasons that are beyond Italian Holiday Experience' control. Please notice that in the case of changes of flights, the passenger is responsible for any additional costs that become payable as a result of such changes.

Prices are guaranteed against any surcharge after an invoice has been issued, unless the increase is due to government laws or currency changes and amounts to 5% of the package price or more. The amounts that exceed 5% will be charged and clients will be entitled to cancel their booking with a full refund if the surcharge exceeds 10%.

Any increase due to changes in government laws, i.e. tax changes will be added to the invoice.

If a day tour, package or group tour is cancelled due to circumstances outside our control or minimum numbers are not reached, we will refund the money you have paid. Italian Holiday Experience shall then have no further liability towards you.

Not Included in Tour Prices
The following charges and expenses are not included in the tour prices published on this website and, where applicable, will be payable by you:

International Flights
Domestic flights not mentioned in your itinerary
Airport Departure Taxes unless specified in your invoice
Tourist Visas (If applicable)
Gratuities of any type
Shore excursions on all cruise itineraries
Port charges for cruises
Personal items
Insurance of any type
Tourist Tax at Hotels if applicable

 

CANCELLATION TERMS
Applied cancellation fees differ between packages (including accommodation and/or car rental) and day tours.

Cancellation of packages

For cancellations received up to 30 calendar days before the scheduled departure, a 30% cancellation fee will be charged.

For cancellations received 15 -29 calendar days before the scheduled departure date a 60% cancellation fee will be charged.

For cancellations received 7 -14 calendar days before the scheduled departure date a 100% cancellation fee will be charged.

Cancellation of day-tours

For cancellations received at least 7 calendar days before the scheduled departure there is a 30% cancellation fee.

For cancellations received 4 - 6 calendar days before the scheduled departure a 50% cancellation fee will be charged.

For cancellations received within 4 calendar days before the scheduled departure a 100% cancellation fee will be charged.

If you need to make a change to your holiday arrangement you must send us a notification via email at least 4 weeks before departure. For changes we charge up to 50 EUR per person.

Some suppliers frequently charge fees for changes; if this occurs, the extra fee will be added to your total.

Please notice that changes may not be possible within 3 weeks before departure.

 

LIABILITY
Once you book through Italian Holiday Experience you agree to be legally bound by the following terms. Italian Holiday Experience acts in good faith and cannot be held responsible for any loss, damage, accidents, sickness or schedule changes caused by weather or road conditions, force majeur such as natural catastrophes, strikes or any other irregularities beyond the control of Italian Holiday Experience. Luggage is at the owner's risk throughout the tour. We therefore advise all clients to have insurance cover, as clients are at their own risk on optional tours,or indoor activity.

All information on Italian Holiday Experience is subject to change and we reserve the right to correct any mistakes that may appear on our website. These general booking conditions are subject to change and we reserve the right to update these conditions without notice.

COMPLAINTS
Our main goal is to provide you with an excellent service. If you, for any reason, are not satisfied with your holiday package, we would like to hear about it. We recommend you contact us as soon as any incident occurs.
Italian Holiday Experience will not give refunds for any unused travel services, or unused portion of a tour, nor will Italian Holiday Experience exchange the price or value of unused travel for alternate arrangements.
If you have problems during your holiday please notify Italian Holiday Experience immediately as we can solve the matter as soon as possibile. Once departed you will not be entitled of any refunds if we hadn’t heard from you before.

All unsolved complaints must reach Italian Holiday Experience within 10 days after your departure from Italy. Otherwise, any possible compensation entitlement will not be valid.

 

INSURANCE
Please note that individual travel insurance is not included in the tour price and all medical costs and other costs involved must be paid by the client. It is therefore strongly recommended that participants take out personal insurance, especially for the active tours.

We strongly recommend to all of our clients to purchase comprehensive travel insurance prior to departure to meet any contingencies.

 

PRIVACY POLICY

At Italian Holiday Experience we strongly believe in protecting consumer privacy. That's why we only ask you for information related to the services we provide. We never sell, rent, trade or give away any of your personal information to anyone.
We just use the common details we need for booking services requested from you, like hotel, tours etc.
This privacy policy describes what information we collect from you, how it is used and what security measures we take to protect it.

IP Addresses & Cookies
In order for us to provide an attractive and easy-to-navigate website, we must occasionally use our visitors’ IP addresses for purposes such as optimising our use of search engines or diagnosing problems with our server. Furthermore, to better tailor our website and product offerings to our customers, we use Google Analytics to collect information on how visitors navigate our website. Cookies are used to collect aggregated data that allows us to see the origins of web traffic, amount of visitors, visitors’ operating systems, browser types, etc. This data does not personally identify you in any way. You can choose not to accept cookies by disabling them in the settings of your web browser.

Newsletter and competitions
If you subscribe to our newsletter or enter one of our competitions, we will ask for your name, email address and country of residence. This information is used to send you information about our company, products or other items that may be of interest to you. We will not contact you more than once monthly. Our newsletters may occasionally contain links to other websites. Italian Holiday Experience is not responsible for any content or privacy policy on other such websites.

Information Form

When you fill in a form on our website, we require contact information, such as your name and e-mail address and, in some cases, partial or full postal address or telephone number. This information is only used to contact you with information about your request and a possible booking of the services requested.

We may need to share your contact information with suppliers of booked services from your tour to hotel etc.

At the time of booking, we also ask you for payment information such as credit card number or bank transfer details. We use the utmost level of online security to safeguard your personal data.
